Uses up to 75% less Chemicals- Since the pool itself is a non-porous surface, Black Algae can't get a foothold on the pool. This means you don't have to continually treat the pool with algaecides. One of the pricier chemicals to add to a pool. Also, Cement or Gunite (aka plaster) pools bleed alkali into the water. This has to be neutralized with acid and acid baths. This needs to be done every 2 to 3 years. You will NEVER need an acid bath with a Fiberglass Pool.

Uses up to 50% less gas & electric- Think giant Teflon pan. Since you are not fighting the pool itself (i.e. plaster), The pump and filter don't have to run as long to keep the pool sanitized.  Fiberglass pools have excellent insulation qualities for retaining pool heat.

17 Times Stronger than Concrete- What happens when you try to bend concrete? It Cracks. Look around your house at the sidewalks. What do you see? Cracks. Fiberglass Pools are flexible.  When freezing winter conditions cause the earth to expand and contract you will be comfortable knowing you have the best pool for flexibility and durability.  Gas Stations Tanks adopted a design similar to Fiberglass Pools. Non-Abrasive Surface- You don't have to worry about bloody toes from being in the pool too long. Fiberglass is smooth but not slippery. The steps and bottom are textured so you don't slip, but it doesn't wear on you like wet and dry sand paper.
